Yoda, Yadda, whatever you’re name is, SLOW DOWN!
By: Meghan, Ponte Vedra, FL and Eva, Fort Meyers, FL

We woke up and had a wonderful breakfast, as usual, which consisted of runny yogurt, hard bread, sour oranges, bland cereal, in other words, PERFECTION!  Our group was not quite its full size, as Shelbey was sick with a stomach ailment, Kendahl’s hip flexor was still sore from her snowboarding action, Courtney and Marissa were too fatigued from our vicious travels the day before, so they all stayed at the hotel with Jeff Reavis.  Jeff Lammy Chops was our chaperone for the day, lucky man!  We all met our new tour guide, Yarda, or so we think.

Yoda (he he) had a quick pep in his step and was hustling throughout our not-so-talkative guided tour.  We were heading into the heart of Prague, or Praha, using the native tongue, to visit the castle.  This is no typical castle, not like Cinderella’s; this one has much more of a gothic-gargoyle feel to it.  There were, however, two guards, with others placed strategically throughout, monitoring those entering and exiting the premises.

We were only permitted a few 10 second stops by our guide, Yoga (once again, we are unsure of his real name), and in order to obtain these stops, we had to give out a “coo-aww aww”.

Our groups separated into teams, so we left the Team Jax little kids, and decided to head into the Museum of Medieval Torture.  Our favorite forms of cruel and unusual punishment were Witches’ Billy Goat, Impalement, Spanish Tickle Torture, the tongue ripper-outer, the upside-down saw-you-in-half, and Jeff’s favorite the foot crusher.  For more information about these and other forms of punishment, please see www.medievaltorture.com.  After returning to our hotel, Eva and I decided to take a little nap, aka 2 and a half hours before our match versus Olymp Praha.
