6th Annual BIP New Year’s Bash - December 27, 2009 to January 6, 2010
This year’s New Year’s Bash will again start in Venice, Italy, but instead of playing in the Volley Festival in Izola, Slovenia we’ll be hosting a tournament in the Istria Region of Croatia. The format will guarantee more matches against foreign teams for the USA teams that participate. We’ll then spend New Year’s on Maribor’s Pohorje Mountain as we have in the past, and then end the trip in Budapest, Hungary where we will be hosting the Budapest Cup with teams from the region.

Leave the USA for Venice, Italy
Dec 27
Arrive Venice, Afternoon and Evening Sight-seeing in Venice, Italy
Dec 28 - 29
USA-Istra Cup, Three USA Teams vs. Three Istrian Club Teams
Dec 30
Bus to Maribor, Slovenia. Hotel at the base of the Pohorje Ski Resort
Dec 31
New Years Eve activities on the Pohorje Mountain
Jan 1
New Years Day activities at the Pohorje Ski Resort
Jan 2
Bus to Budapest, Hungary via Vienna, Austria. ~5 hours Sight-seeing in Vienna.
Jan 3-5
Play in the Budapest Cup and Sight-seeing in Budapest
