No BIP tour is complete without the distribution of awards, and this tour is no different; however, unlike those tours in the past, we have decided on a more eco-friendly approach by making e-awards. As in any group that spends as much quality time together as we have these past ten days, you begin to recognize little personality traits and quirks about some of the individuals. For some, you notice patterns of behaviors, while others make a name for themselves by doing a highly embarrassing act which they are never able to live down. It is these things and more that make each tour unique, and without them, our journey around Europe would not have been complete. Without further ado, I give you the awards, in no particular order:
1. “Mother Hen Award” presented to Emily, due to her gracious supply of hand sanitizer and general concern for everyone’s well-being and health on tour
2. “Napoleon Dynamite Award” presented to Brooke K, due to her lack of emotion and facial expression while playing volleyball, despite getting numerous kills and blocks
3. “Pop tart Protector Award” presented to Taylor, for fighting and then wrestling Savannah for her last pop tart
4. “Most likely to get kicked out of a museum” presented to Logan, for setting off alarms and almost getting kicked out of two different museums
5. “Most likely to dance without music” presented to Kendall, for just being a weirdo
6. “Most likely to be friend requested on Facebook” presented to Savannah, for her abilities to make friends no matter where she is
7. “Encyclopedia Brown Award” presented to Kaye, due to her plethora of knowledge of just about everything
8. The “Don’t judge me, I’m an LSD” Award presented to Laurel, for saying this, repeatedly, to Meghan, Marion and other members of the college team. (note: she is not actually on LSD)
9. For the second consecutive year, “Most likely to have a full conversation with someone regardless of whether or not they respond” presented to Carly, for reasons that need no explanation
10. “Easily Entertained Award” presented to Gracie, as deemed by her 4-day ownership of a sugar cube named Cheetah
11. “International Coaching Debut” presented to Megan, for taking the high school team, by herself, to play in their first match in Budapest

19. “The Greasiest Hair Award” presented to Meghan, for not washing her hair since last year
20. “The Newcomer Award” presented to Justine, for being the last American to join our trip
21. “The Spaghetti Lover Award” presented to Wilson, for his amazing spaghetti analogy
22. “Tour Photographer” presented to Ann, for always being ready with her camera
23. “Cheeeeseee-burrrrr-gerrrrrr Award” presented to Jamie, for being an all-around fun person

26. “Most Likely to be Confused as a Player” presented to Jeanette for looking ever-so-youthful
27. “Cutest Baby and Most Gorgeous Wife Award” presented to Cory, for having the most adorable family in all of Slovenia
28. “The 8-hour tourist award” presented to Tip Top Timmy, for the shortest amount of tour time
Along with getting to know these 26 people, PLUS TK and Cory, we also have learned many great life lessons while on tour this year. Whether it be basic traveling necessities or who can go longest without washing their hair these random facts and awesome memories will never be forgotten. Thanks to everyone who made this tour possible, and to all the girls and parents who made this a memorable Bash!
