I can't say enough about the group of people on this trip. I have long claimed I would never run a women's tour (I thought they would be too high maintenance) but if this group is indicative of the norm, I know I'll be running at least two a year. The girls are not only better looking than the guys, but they are actually organized, responsible, clean, civil, more appreciative of what Europe has to offer, and still a lot of fun.
Here is the journal of our trip. I have taken certain editorial liberties and have also (in the interest of time) written some of the days myself. I wish that we would have had more time to do a little better (and more complete) job, but hopefully this will paint a picture for future tour-goers and interested friends, family, and fans.
I want to end my little preface with a big "Thank You" to Cork and Wevy. Without our two phenomenal coaches (both on and off the court) I don't think we would have made it through this trip sane and I know that no one would have had anywhere near as good a time. I look forward to making this an annual event with these two studs (driving record ignored) and beg their bosses to let them off for two weeks of "recruiting" every Jan 10-24. They really did do a great job keeping the girls together on the court and also were a lot of help and fun on the trip.
Also, we should thank and Molten for providing sponsorship, significantly lowering the price of the tour.
