Vienna and the Big Drive Day

Goodbye to Maribor and the Pohorje

Today we left the city of Maribor, Slovenia and traveled through Austria north to Prague, Czech Republic. Actually, we’re not there yet, but I hear it’s less than an hour away. We left the hotel this morning at about nine and rode in a bus to Vienna for about three hours. We had four hours to see the city and explore. There were lots of neat buildings and there were very beautiful churches. Most of the stores were closed, so the shopping could have been a lot better, but there were restaurants open and the food was good. Our group was kind of lame and went to Subway. It was a good taste of home.

We loaded back on the bus and drove for a while, stopped for food and potty breaks, drove for a while, stopped for a potty break, and now we’re going again. When we get there we’ll go mow down and hit the sack. Maybe we’ll dream of the volleyball tourney we start tomorrow. I’m so excited.
