AKA, the Firesale

Our 5th Annual Women¹s Firesale kicked on Friday, August 15 in Maribor, Slovenia. This year's firesale is more of a "Camp" than a "Tour" as we think that by traveling less, and training more, we can actually place more players, and have players more prepared for their experience with a team when they arrive. Players are in Europe training and playing matches during the time that many teams are calling for specific players to fill their teams and we'll have a handful of visiting coaches that are looking for players.

The schedule is being planned day by day, but the girls expect a few day trips to a selection of the following teams/cities - Klagenfurt, Graz, or Vienna, Austria; Pula, Zagreb, or Rijeka, Croatia; Trieste, Venice, or Pordenone (and surroundings), Italy; Koper, Nova Gorica, Novo Mesto, Ptuj, Rogla/Zrece, Ljubljana, or Bled, Slovenia.

As usual, we expect players to be placed across Europe as teams call in needing new blood. It is common for players to get placed in countries like Denmark, Finland, Portugal, pain,Holland, Germany, and France in August, even though we won¹t visit those countries as a team.
