From April 10-18 the Northern Lights Volleyball Club (Minnesota) will be traveling with their u18 team to Italy. The first two days will be spent enjoying Rome, and then the team will travel to Ravenna, Italy and play the Italian Youth National Team. After leaving Ravenna, the team will spend a day in Venice and then check into their "Players' Village" in Pordenone at the 24rd Annual International Volleyball Tournament "Memorial Ferruccio Cornacchia".

There the team will compete in a field of 16 teams against top u18 teams from Brazil, Hungary, Austria, England, Croatia, Lichtenstein, Germany, Switzerland, Yugoslavia, and Italy. This is the second time that BIP has brought a team to this tournament.
