Northern Lights was placed in Group B with the following teams: Switzerland Junior National Team, Belo Horizonte, Brazil and Bayer Leverkusen, Germany. Northern Lights beat the Swiss team 3-0, lost to Belo Horizonte 2-1 and then beat Bayer Laverkusen 3-0. Northern Lights won Group A as the group was decided by the number of sets you win, not the number of matches. Northern Lights finished at 7-2 while Brazil finished at 6-3.

Basically today was a volleyball day as Lights played nine sets throughout the day. By winning the pool they will match up tomorrow against the 2nd place team from Group D, Sofia 94 from Bulgaria.
