Final Day in Pordenone
After a depressing loss to long beach yesterday we realized that third place was all the higher that we could get. We started off today with a depressing breakfast of stale bread and water. Our bellies empty we made our trip up the senic mountainside. We arrived in a town of 200 people named Claut, that was surrounded with mountains and streams. After we got of the bus we soon realized that the air was cold and so were we. It took us a while to warm up seeing as Leah couldn’t even move her body to shag balls. The first game was a domination station. We rattled their bones. The next two games were more of a struggle seeing as we were depressed that we were not playing in the SHIP! Although the game was a downer we still were able to pull it out.
After the scenic walk around Claut we stopped at an ice cream shop where Cory bought us all one scoop of the delicious gelato. Next we drug our emaciated bodies to a nearby resteraunt. There we experienced the same old lunch with the addition of french fries best suprise of our lives. Once we finished eating we made the decision to go back to Pordadone in order to watch the mens finals. We cheered for our buddies the Tunies. They won in an exciting game over the Indians, which was a little bit to much for one man to handle. He fell off of the railing onto the court after the match.
All in all today was an event to remember and we are so thankful for the friends that we have made….
