My name is Ana Kalissnik and I’m 16 years old. I am 182 cm tall. My favorite food is pancakes with chocolate. I have played volleyball since I was 13. I started to play in Kamnik and last year I moved to Maribor. I play for Nova KBM Branik here. We were Slovenian national champions this year and I am very happy that we did so well. Here I live on my own, which is not uncommon, but this is not all. I also play for Slovenian youth national team. Now in July we are training for a big tournament in Salt Lake City, Utah. And this will be my first time in America. I am very excited to visit Salt Lake and see the culture of America. In the tournament we will compete with teams from China, Russia, Hawaii, America and Europe. I hope we will play well in America. In the future I would like to succeed in my position and possibly play in Europe or another country. When I get to the University I would like to study medicine or biology because I would like to help people. Volleyball is a lot of fun and I would like to keep playing.
