Men’s Summer Tour/Camp (Maribor) 2002

 

We didn’t do a journal for this year’s Tour, but we did have a successful trip that was much more refined and civilized than past tours. Due to new tax and immigration rules in many European countries, it’s a much tougher market and much more difficult for many players to find teams. This year’s group of guys did a good job of working hard and hanging in there during our trip – knowing that the odds of actually finding a team were MUCH lower than in the past and also knowing that offers would be for much lower dollars.
