After the 2001 World University games, and a Loyola season that saw us win the MIVA, regular season, I was given a chance to go coach Professionally in Japan. This was another opportunity I could not pass up. I coached with the Sakai Blazers from 2002-2004. In this time we were 2nd place in Imperial Cup (AKA Japan Cup) and Semi Finalist in the League.
In 2005-2006 I returned to USA to work on a project, to build a professional volleyball league - The NVL (National Volleyball League). I also worked as a Real Estate agent during this period for income. In 2006, 2007 and 2008 I also went back to Japan to serve as a consultant for Sakai Blazers. We were the V-League Champions in 2006. I realized my passion was coaching not building volleyball league so I returned to coaching in 2008 full time.
2008-2010 I worked with the JT team that was trying to rebuild and come back to the top, after a 5 year slide down. In my 1st year we managed to get back to 5th position, and in 2009 we finished 2nd at the Emperor's Cup (All Japan Championship).
2010 I have accepted the call to be the Head Coach of Greece. This is a long process from my 1st taste of the National Level in 1992, but a journey where I learned a lot. I have coached and had success at every level from 14 year old girls to professional teams, and now take the challenge to return Greece back to a European Power.
