Head Coach Chris Beerman discusses the team's arrival in prague.
May 4, 2007
PRAGUE, Czech Republic - Greetings from Prague, Czech Republic.
Well, we got off to a tough start on this tour with having two canceled flights and a passport issue with Diana at the Prague border. But today is a new day. Despite the border issues, the team had a great day once they got settled into their hotel here in Prague.
They were able to tour the market area of old Prague and spend some time getting to know this wonderful city. We also played our first match against a very experienced team who had just finished their season. We played fairly well for being up for over 24 hours and competed in five close games with them. Tonight we will play again and hopefully see a more rested team performance. Today we will also take a tour of the Prague castle and the St. Charles bridge, two of the most historical landmarks in Europe.
Look in tomorrow's journal entry results of the match, a recap of the day's educational experience and some pictures of our team enjoying this beautiful city.
