MARIBOR, Slovenia - Today we woke up and enjoyed a delicious breakfast that reminded us of home. Following breakfast we took the gondola up the side of the mountain in hopes of laying out; however, it was much cooler when we reached the top. After returning from our mountain top adventure, we relaxed and took in the beauty of our surroundings. Waking up from naps and lounging around, we went outside on the patio for lunch. With full bellies and the beginning of a suntan, we took the ski lift up the mountain just so we could race right back down on the sleds we rode yesterday.

With our adrenaline still pumping we packed up our bags and headed to the gym. The playing facilities were the nicest we have seen thus far. The team we played was very good and played at a high level. We had the opportunity to hang out with a few of the players throughout the day. This only added to our competitive drive; we wanted to beat our new friends.

Following the match, the coach of the other team took us out for an amazing dinner. We enjoyed lasagna and pasta, some of the best food yet. Following the meal we all got ice cream cones. It was the perfect ending to a relaxing day in Maribor, Slovenia.
