The University of Utah Women's volleyball team will be traveling to Europe March 16-25, 2007 on tour with Bring It USA. We would like to thank the TEAM BEHIND THE TEAM and all the Ute Spiker Club members for all their support and for helping to make this trip happen. The team is extremly excited about the upcoming trip and are already packing their bags!
As a team we are looking to make this trip an educational experience as some of the girls are making their first trip out of the USA. We have many activities in place to help us grow as a team and help prepare us for this upcoming 07 season. We are going to be playing great competition in Italy and Slovenia that will test our team and help us measure our growth over this spring season.
Each day a member of our team will be writing in a journal that will be posted online that you can follow at www.utahutes.com. We will also be posting pictures so you can follow us as we travel in Europe. Below you will find a rough itinerary of our trip. Rough only because in Europe, things change all the time and you have to adapt to that as part of the culture. Please follow the Utes and thanks again for all your support!

March 16: Depart the USA for VENICE, ITALY
March 17: Arrive, Venice... Sightseeing in Venice that afternoon and evening
March 18: Sightseeing in Venice
March 19: Leave for Nova Gorica, Slovenia
Match #1 that evening with HIT Nova Gorica (tope team in Slovenia)
March 20: Leave for Pordenone, Italy
Match #2 that evening with Spes Volley Conegliano (A2 Italian team)
Leave after the match for Ravenna, Italy
March 21: Beach day in Ravenna, Italy
Match #3 that afternoon with Teodora (Italian B1 team)
Match #4 vs. The Italian Youth National Team
March 22: Leave for Peruggia, Italy
Match #5 vs. Marsciano (Italian B1 team) at 5:30 pm
Leave for ROME, Italy after the match
March 23: All day and evening sightseeing in Rome
March 24: All day and evening sightseeing in Rome
March 25: Leave Rome at 1:25 pm for USA
